Husaberg project

It seemed a good idea at the time - I've just bought a 94 Husaberg 350 as a project, thats it spread over the garage floor. First job was to strip it down, check the frame for cracks and get it powder coated. Sure enough there are a number of cracks, tho' nothing major and it will be an easy weld job. I'm pretty worried about the motor, there was no coolant in the radiator and I know it has been run just before I got it.
Dave Clarke Racing seems to have plenty of parts for this model but I can't find much info. Any pointers as to where I can find specs, details etc would be great.

Dirt Bike Show 07

The Dirt Bike Show just gets better and better. It was well worth the journey down a wet and congested M1. I didn't spend much I just bought a few tools, but it got me fired up and I've already started a winter rebuild of my KX250.

WTTC - Brands Hatch

This was surprisingly, my first visit to Brands and my first experience of hospitality. Great racing and the view from the start line suite was perfect, not to mention the food.
Marcus Carniel suffered this start line accident during the Porsche Open/Porsche Club Championship Race - more images in the gallery.
Many thanks to Paul at Lotus on Track.

Minis - Donington Park

Great racing at Donington Park last weekend with plenty of sun for a change. As usual the Minis provided some close racing and plenty of action. In this incident the mini hit the concrete so hard it lost its block! The driver involved although obviously dazed was unhurt. More images can be found in the gallery.

MacBook Pro fan problems

The left side fan of my MacBook Pro suddenly developed a loud ticking noise the other evening. I phoned around and was told that there were no known issues and it was suggested by one Apple reseller that it could be due to an insect which had crawled inside. The fan has now stopped working.
A quick search confirms that others have experienced this problem. I will have to visit my local Apple store. The result of buying a "revision a" model I think - I had to exchange my original one after only two days due to a curling lid. Theres a moral here..
